| What we do
Our centre exists to effectively involve more people in volunteering to
help solve real problems and enrich communities. We achieve this by:
- Encouraging people to engage in voluntary work.
- Providing a focus for voluntary activity.
- Promoting and developing opportunities.
- Encouraging and supporting good practice.

| The Centre is part of a country-wide network of 32
Centres, which cover all local authority areas, and
are the key vehicle for delivering the government's
Volunteering Strategy. We also publicly demonstrate our commitment to volunteering through our participation in the Investing in Volunteers standard. |
